This growing telecoms provider based on Hornbeam Park in Harrogate with engineers working nationwide is now seeking a new member of staff to support the engineer team with 1st line queries, customer orders and supply requests.

Ideal candidates will have a keen interest and experience in IT / Telecoms and excellent customer service skills with an eagerness to learn and develop. Cross training will be provided and there is scope for candidates to grow through this role into more technical areas of the business.

Job role entails

- Answering calls from customers, suppliers and engineering team members
- Booking their own and contract engineers jobs
- Collating job information and liaising between customers and engineering staff
- Ordering stock and equipment
- Checking and prepairing ordered equipment for engineers jobs
- Initial configuration of broadband routers, wifi, and hosted voip telephony
- Assisting customers with broadband and hosted telephony faults / queries
- Building and maintaining reationships with customers and suppliers
- Updating customers on job progress
- Maintaining accurate records of job works for invoicing

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with 22 days holiday (plus bank holidays) per annum, nest pension scheme.

Salary negotiated depending on experience, the role is permenent and we are ideally looking to recruit a long term team member.
