This company has over 50 years' experience of designing, building & maintaining swimming pools for high net worth private clients in the residential sector and some smaller commercial installations.

Due to internal restructuring, they are now looking for an experienced Service Coordinator to join their busy, friendly team. You will be playing a key part in supporting the Engineering & Technical team, liaising with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors, and assisting the Directors in the smooth running of the business.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to attend trade events, conferences and training sessions, and occasionally spend time with the Engineers visiting clients, to gain a full understanding about the work they do and the challenges they face. This would suit a candidate with long-term career goals and commitment. This post may evolve into a Senior Management position so the candidate should be eager to progress and take on more responsibility.

Main responsibilities include:

- Arranging service and maintenance visits and scheduling of Engineers.
- Writing up reports and submitting to customers.
- Assisting the department Director with diary and calendar entries.
- Calculating and drafting quotations for replacement equipment and maintenance works.
- Placing orders and liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Updating the company website & social media.
- Advising customers of visits and updates clearly by phone and/or email.
- Attending occasional off-site training days and trade shows.

The ideal candidate should/will have:

- Strong organisational skills & the ability to prioritise tasks with good attention to detail.
- A good understanding of the importance of job completion and customer satisfaction to maintain good cash-flow.
- A commitment to undertake a home study course for the accreditation of and entry to the Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills.
- A working knowledge & experience of CRM systems such as Big Change or Clik.
- Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
- The ability to craft well written, professional emails.
- A broad knowledge and understanding of the local area and capability to plan practical/efficient routing for engineers.
- Ability to maintain a cool head and focus when under peak seasonal workloads/pressures.
- Prior experience in the pool industry (preferred) or any associated maintenance service industry e.g. plumbing/heating, electrical, building maintenance, drainage, agricultural services.

In return they offer:

- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (4 days to be taken over Christmas)
- Commission structure
- Career progression
- Staff team building days
- Free parking
- Company mobile

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established & respected family business, with ongoing potential for growth & additional opportunities for the right person.

They look forward to receiving your CV!
