This company, together with their well-known property group, specialise in property development, property lettings and property management – operating throughout the UK.

They are seeking a Service Charge Advisor who has experience of handling service charge demands and arrears collection, and an understanding of leasehold management, with an awareness of compliance regulations. A strong focus on customer service is required.

Job Description:
To be responsible for issuing service charge demands, liaising with leaseholders on a day to day basis, chasing payment of service charges and updating the accounts system.

Job Role:

- Raise service charge demands with the appropriate accompanying documentation.
- Chase payment of service charges.
- Respond to leaseholder enquires by phone & e-mail, providing all necessary documentation in order to resolve their enquiry.
- Investigating accounts to ensure payments have been set up in order to settle the account in full by the end of the charge period.
- Allocate payments correctly to the correct charge.
- Keep key notes on all communication & agreements made.
- Provide general office support as required.

Desired skill:
- Knowledge of a Property management system,:- Propman, ECS Qube or similar

Key Skills:

- Well organised with a high level of attention to detail.
- Able to self-manage, multi-task and prioritise workload.
- Proficient in all Microsoft programmes including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to communicate proficiently and professionally both in writing and orally.
- Able to work as part of a team but equally comfortable working alone.
- Flexible in approach.
- Customer Service focus or experience, ideally in a Credit Control or Arrears chasing role.
- Applies discretion and confidentiality in all matters.
- Excellent relationship building skills, both internally and externally, at all levels.
