A Service & Support Manager is required to join a small company that creates bespoke engineering solutions for its customers. A great deal of its success relies on flexibility and teamwork from all members of staff.

You will manage the service and support of bespoke special purpose handling equipment to meet planned completion dates.

Form effective relationships with their customers by regular and effective communication.

Key Performance Indicators:
- Customer satisfaction.
- On time completion of service contracts.

Job Dimensions and duties:
- Manage multiple service projects.
- Work with the customer and internal team to plan service visits.
- Manage annual service contracts with key customers.
- Work closely with the assembly/installation team to ensure that customer requirements are met or exceeded.
- Provide pre-service documentation well in advance of service visits.
- Ensure that all equipment required for access is available on site or delivered as appropriate.
- Provide service reports in a timely manner.
- Follow up with the Sales Team for remedial works.
- Identify opportunities for future sales and feed to the Sales Team.
- Develop and maintain a service kit.
- Ensure that all invoices are issued on time.

They are looking for someone who can be flexible and work on site when necessary. You will need the ability to take ownership of the service programme so that completion dates are achieved and their customers’ expectations are exceeded. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in mechanical engineering and of managing service and maintenance contracts.
