The job function of the Service Administrator is to be responsible for the efficient operation of the Derby Service Centre administration and coordination of their Service Engineers.

- The role is to deal with customer queries/enquiries/instructions over the phone or email in a polite and efficient manner.
- To accurately escalate any queries or enquiries to the Service Supervisor or Service Manager as necessary but also to be confident in using your own initiative to deal with customers/branch personnel in the absence of management.
- To co-ordinate all relevant paperwork to enable the output of the service centre to be invoiced quickly and to ensure that customer accounts are settled as quickly as possible.
- To ensure all service centre records are maintained in a manner satisfactory for audit purposes.
- To ensure all necessary stocks of stationary are replenished as needed.
- To ensure petty cash is available for branch personnel expense purposes and to ensure security of the same.
- To maximise co-operation between branch administration and service personnel therefore promoting an efficient and pleasant working environment.
- To coordinate the activities of a team of field service engineers to ensure maximum efficiency of resources that will satisfy the current and future customer base.

The successful candidate will have substantial office administration experience, be computer literate and comfortable on both Microsoft Office and have had previous project system experience. They must also work well as part of a team and have a pleasant and professional telephone manner.
