Title: SEO Content Manager
Pay: £25,000 starting + bonuses & benefits
Location: Shoreditch, London

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing start up agency specialising in eCommerce working with ambitious brands aiming to disrupt their respective industries. They are based in the tech & creative hub of Shoreditch, labelled London’s very own “Silicon Valley”.

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

You will report directly to the agency owners to help deliver commercial growth for clients through content marketing. This is a fantastic opportunity to own content delivery for their fast-growing agency, communicate your ideas and strategies directly to clients and new business.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Use Google Analytics & other tools to monitor content performance and make recommendations to drive a long-term SEO content plan for their wide range of eCommerce clients.
- Oversee & project manage the content production process from start to finish
- Manage and train a growing in-house team of future SEO & content superstars as well as external freelancers
- Manage the agencies own in-house content, blog & social media channels
- Become a subject matter expert in fashion, drinks, skincare & interior design to ensure that content adheres to brand tone of voice guidelines & target audience

SKILLS REQUIRED

- 1-2 years experience in a digital marketing role. It’s not the length of time important to us, it’s your mentality & desire to learn to step out of your comfort zone
- Proven experience of increasing a brand’s SEO traffic through content marketing
- Moderate SEO skills with working knowledge of SEO tools
- Experience reporting to C-level executives and leading strategy discussions
- Strong project management skills, can juggle multiple projects calmly at once without missing a deadline
- Ability to organise priorities, meet deadlines and work independently
- Previous experience of managing a content team/freelancers
- Strong attention to detail – near perfect grammar and strong editing skills

SKILLS DESIRED

- Experience using Microsoft Office & Google Docs
- Experience pitching to stakeholders, potential new clients
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS & solid understanding of Web Design/UX
- Experience with CMS’– Wordpress, Shopify, Magento
