Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing control of company stock and inventory to ensure the right products are in the right
place at the right time, based on commercial and demand forecasts
- Ensure that product availability targets are met through pro-active stock and inventory management
- Develop and maintain minimum stock and inventory levels
- Liaising with Production and Warehouse colleagues regarding stock levels
- Expedite orders through the stock system on a daily basis
- Maintain product and stock pricing records to ensure accuracy of product stock information
- Continuous management and reduction of surplus and obsolete stock
- Prompt reporting of inaccuracies and missing stock
- Oversee the daily and weekly inventory counts to maintain integrity of the stock file
- Maintain all new art work and ranges between suppliers and the company
- Strong analytical skills coupled with in-depth inventory stock systems knowledge
- Ability to influence and challenge inventory/stock forecast decisions
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
