You will have a good grounding in Part E, Part F, Part L and building air/acoustics compliance testing. They offer a specialist acoustic and air tightness services across the education/retail/commercial/residential/industrial sectors. As you progress in this role additional services/educational requirements will be offered to further your qualifications in this exciting sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sound insulation and air tightness testing/consultancy services to their customer base predominantly across London and the South-East
- Preparing testing reports/certification
- Undertaking pre-test audits and recommendation reports
- Specification reviews and liaising with the customer on technical issues e.g when tests fail
- Ability to work autonomously
- Preparing bid proposals
- Being a client facing role a proactive attitude to client relationships and business development activities is a necessity
- Assist their sustainability team and associated services proposition
Essential:
- Registered air tightness tester (ATTMA)
- The candidate will have attained experience to be eligible for ANC/UKAS sound insulation accreditation
- A minimum of 4 years experience undertaking both sound insulation and air testing
- Experience undertaking non-domestic projects (e.g commercial)
- Engineering or Environmental Degree qualified (or equivalent)
- Solid competence in building control testing requirements for Part L/E/F regulations
- Good understanding of renewable technologies
- Good understanding of CAD design drawings and fabric build-ups
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Microsoft Excel, Office
- Travel is a requirement for this role so a Full driving license is required
Preferable:
- Knowledge and/or experience of undertaking acoustical data for planning purposes
- Knowledge and/or experience of undertaking air quality data for planning purposes
- Knowledge and/or experience of carrying out thermal imaging surveys
- SAP software experience
The company package is as follows:
