An exciting new role, has become available for an experienced, confident and ambitious Service Desk Analyst professional to help play a key role in driving forward a Service Desk function within a rapidly growing global IT Hardware and Software Asset Management organisation, based in Warrington.

The Service Desk provides a single point of contact for all Customers and Internal colleagues in relation to IT issues and requests. The purpose of the role is to provide exceptional support to all customers and to support a variety of products, services and platforms. This will be achieved by performing in a proactive and reactive manner, ensuring that all SLA's are adhered to. Issue resolution is provided in and effective and timely manner.

Essential: -
- Customer service/facing experience
- Basic understanding of the following:
o Network architecture
o Microsoft Operating Systems
o PC's
o Computer technology
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication skills
- Pro-active
- Ability to prioritise under pressure & strict deadlines
- Ability to communicate & advise technical/service information to different levels

Desirable: -
- Previous IT Qualifications
- ITIL and/or Service Desk Institute qualifications
- Experience of using IT Service Management toolset
- Experience of working in an IT environment

Salary £25,000 + comprehensive benefits package
