This This Structured Cabling Company is looking for a Senior Project Manager. A minimum of 5 years Structured Cabling installation and pre-sales experience is essential. Must be an agile thinker and able to travel throughout the UK.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
- Conduct pre-sales site surveys and produce bills of materials for costing
- Ensure correct materials are purchased, delivered to site on time and regularly assessed
- Agree project objectives and ensure project delivery within agreed deadlines and SLAs
- Provide advice on the management of projects and best practice
- Organise various professional engineers to work on projects
- Carry out risk assessment (including identifying any need for high rise platform/cherry picker etc)
- Ensure all the aims of the project are met
- Ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
- Oversee and ensure costs are kept within budget
- Able to travel to sites across the UK (occasional overnight stays may be required)
Qualifications and Skills
Experience required
- Experience in the structured cabling industry
- Experience in working with Systimax, Brand Rex and Excel solutions and materials
- CAD experience essential
- Familiar with risk assessment, health & safety and method statements
- Full driving license, own transport
