This company is looking to hire an experienced Senior Project Manager, with proven track record in delivering large scale client facing complex projects, desirably in the contact centre space or from a telecommunications or software vendor segment.

The Senior Project Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of customer projects with responsibility for tracking project status and profitability, coordinating project resources, managing client expectations, and leveraging project experience throughout the team. He/She will be the primary interface with the customer to manage the triple constraints (schedule, scope, budget) and to resolve issues and should understand the client's business very well and establishes inroads into the organisation of the account to increase their visibility.

The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for all Genesys personnel incl. sub-contractors working on the project, will manage all financial aspects of the projects including forecasting and revenue recognition and can recognize opportunities, along with the Professional Services experience to successfully negotiate and close additional business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project management of multiple, concurrent Genesys solution engagements, ranging from a PS value of a few tens of thousands to more than £1m, including customer sign off.
- Develop or support creation of PS offers including both budgetary and final “Statement of Work” for specific opportunities.
- Creation of financial documentation to support the professional services offer and ensure margin profitability
- Ensure engagements are on time and on budget, and achieve customer satisfaction goals
- Maintain close links with other functions in Professional Services and other Company departments especially Sales, Pre-Sales and Marketing, Support, and Education.
- Maintain quality relationships between our clients, strategic partners and/or third-party providers.

Desirable Skills:
- Experience with cloud based software solutions would be highly advantageous
- Commercial awareness around project finances and P&L responsibility
- Solid technical background, ideally with understanding or hands-on experience in Contact Centre development and web technologies
- Ability to work effectively both individually and when part of or leading a team
- Strong leadership, good interpersonal skills and ability to work at Senior level with customer interfaces.
- 5+ years relevant experience within the IT industry preferably in the Contact Centre, Telecommunication and/or CRM market (essential).
- Proven IT Project Management experience (including budgeting) of complex solutions
- Project Management Certification, e.g. PRINCE2 (desirable), APM or PMI
- Understands at least 1 industry segment (e.g. Telecommunications) with an understanding of computer architecture, open systems products (hardware and software), project management tools and methodologies, customer and Professional Services (essential)).
