Their clients include businesses and charities (especially arts-based charities such as theatres and venues) across the country and overseas. They are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to help with the continued expansion their client base. - Assisting with the migration of systems to virtualisation and Office365
- Analysing and resolving a range of faults that their 1st Line engineers have not been able to resolve, from system failures to complex performance issues
- Supervising routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security
- Using their network monitoring system to predict faults and help diagnose network and systems issues
- The majority of the work will be based their Milton Keynes office, although there will be opportunities for occasional site visits

Key skills:
You will probably hold at least one recognised Microsoft qualification (MTA, MCP, MCITP etc.) and you will have a sound understanding of network server infrastructure including:

- Windows Servers of all versions
- Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Firewalls and routers
- VPN, RDP, TCP/IP

It would also be desirable if you had any experience or knowledge of the following (but they can also train you if not!):

- Microsoft SQL administration
- Microsoft IIS
- Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation
- Switching (VLAN configuration)
