Senior Technical Engineer

They're looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join their growing team providing 3rd line support to a wide range of clients via email, telephone, remote desktop and on-site. It's a varied role with exciting opportunities to visit clients and enjoy different working environments.

This is a role for a self-motivated engineer to work focusing on customer service with excellent communication skills as well as a strong technical troubleshooting ability.

You will play an important part in supporting their clients. As well as break-fix work you can also get involved in project work and get experience of a wide range of technology - so you should be open minded.

It’s important that you’re able to think on your feet and provide great customer service and be a re-assuring presence to their clients. A can-do attitude is absolutely essential.

Essential technical experience:

- Desktop hardware and software
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2016
- Microsoft Office 365
- Microsoft Exchange 2007-2013
- Basic networking skills
- Basic VOIP knowledge
- Basic wireless knowledge
- Virtualisation (VMWare / Microsoft Hyper-V)

Desirable technical experience:

- Experience of SAN systems
- 3CX Phone system
- Cisco switching/firewalls
- WatchGuard firewalls
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)
