An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Systems Engineer / Manager to join this rapidly growing organisation based in Milton Keynes.

Essential to the role:
They are looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer / Manager who is professional and friendly, persistent and flexible, decisive and consultative. They will be supportive of the IT Systems Engineering Team in providing high quality services and managing projects to completion. The successful applicant will have outstanding technical and inter-personal skills. They will have a strong understanding of IT and security technology and will have the ability to communicate and engage with staff at all levels.

Team leadership across 3 European sites; UK, Ireland and Romania, strategic and financial planning and procurement are also key requirements of the role.

At a glance:
- Management support for all internal IT systems, infrastructure and services including internal and external communications, ensuring availability, integrity and performance
- Manage support for all supported Customer IT systems in accordance with contractual obligations and SLA’s
- Supplier, service and products management for IT infrastructure and communications, with a view to achieving the best quality service within budget
- Management of IT Systems Engineering Team and their career progression
- Manage capital expenditure, submitting budgets and providing monthly spends and forecasts
- Develop the internal and external IT Infrastructure
- Implement internal IT processes relating to ISO 9001, ISO 2000, ISO 27001
- Implement policies, standards, and guidelines related to data, network and system security, disaster recovery, and/or business continuity

Essential Skills:
- Experience and good working understanding of multiple security platforms
- Strong leadership and decision making skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong risk management skills
- Good prioritisation skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
- Able to motive and lead a group, to negotiate and influence others at all levels
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; including communicating with both technical and non-technical clients and staff at all organisational levels
- Ability to develop, implement and manage change

- Are able to travel to Dublin and Romania when required
