Location: Hertfordshire
An NSI Gold accredited Security Company that specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of integrated security systems are currently recruiting for a Senior Installation Engineer.
This is a pivotal, high profile role working with prestigious clients, and as such candidates must be able to demonstrate strong technical levels coupled with the resilience to work under pressure as well as the willingness to take on further technical training.
This role will be responsible for installing, maintaining, fault finding and fixing CCTV (including IP/networked systems), Access Control and Intruder systems.
Responsibilities:
- To maintain and lead upgrades and new installations across key client sites.
- Installation, Maintenance and Commissioning of CCTV, intruder, access control and fire projects
- To attend pre start, completion, and site meetings with nominated clients and ensure the effective installation
- To ensure full compliance regarding health and safety requirements.
- To ensure competent training for end user
Key requirements:
- Expert understanding of galaxy intruder alarm systems
- Expert understanding of IP CCTV systems, with an emphasis on:
o Avigilon
o Axis
- Good understanding of IP networking in a secure corporate network
- Good understanding of SQL databases
- Clean driving licence
- Manage workload
Abilities:
- You will need to be an accomplished Senior Engineer in the security industry with at least 5 years’ experience
- This is a ‘hands on’ role working within a successful team and as such you will possess excellent communication skills and be highly effective
- You will be highly IT literate
- You will have a track record of routinely exceeding your targets and display a thirst for technology and solutions. You will be a team player with ambition.
