This is fantastic opportunity to work in growing, global business across the full range of HR generalist activities.

This business recently acquired this technology company, based here in Nottingham. With a similar culture and similar business interests across the globe the initial merger has worked very well. We are now beginning to explore and action some of the detailed integration areas to align the two businesses, and in this we need the support, for approximately 12 months, from a very experienced HR Generalist.

They key elements of this role are:
- Integration of the existing business model into a combined business model
- Managing a small HR team including an HR Business Partner and HR support person
- Business partnering with the senior management team including Site Lead and local Exec member
- Acting as the senior Senior HR contact person for employees on the Nottingham site
- Determining recruitment needs and ensuring recruitment practices (including the issuing of new contracts) meets legal requirements and company policy
- Managing all inductions and induction training for new starters
- Working on global and national and local office HR projects and initiatives
- Managing a small HR team including an HR Business Partner and HR support.

- Providing input into the development of HR policies and processes and assist in implementing and communication policies to staff.
- Processing payroll and company benefit plans in accordance with company regulations and required laws
- Influencing and coaching of the leadership team, serving as a resource to develop people management skills
- Driving employee engagement at a local level including, implementing plans to foster engagement
- Supporting Budget processes in coordination with Director, Strategic HRBP , payroll and finance
- Keeping up to date with employment law, HMRC changes and other changes that may affect the organisation.

What other key information should you know about this role?
- It requires mobility to travel to USA circa twice a year
- There will also be regular travel to their site in Peterborough approx one day a month
- Ideally you will have international experience and be familiar with the challenges of working with remote teams, managers and colleagues
- Anyone who has worked through the HR aspects of an acquisition and significant organisational change would be of real interest
- You will need to be resilient to change and a confident multi tasker, juggling several priorities at once but in a supportive and cooperative work environment
