We are now looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager. This is an operational role where you will be providing day to day support to the team, helping them with project management, creative ideation, problem solving and facilitating training. Alongside this you will be required to work on key client projects, in both strategic and delivery aspects.

The ideal candidate is organised, works well under pressure, loves to collaborate, takes on challenges and is creative.

You should have experience working within aspects of content marketing, be it in content creation and/or in PR and digital outreach. You have also managed or mentored people as well as had senior, goal orientated responsibilities.

The job environment is fast paced and results oriented. While there is urgency for goal achievement, responsibility for the achievement of results needs to be shared and effectively delegated when necessary. A self-confident, engaging style that can enliven, motivate and positively impact individuals and groups is essential. The job has variety of tasks and is dynamic and changing. The ability to understand, quickly react and lead others to adapt to the changing organisation environment is a critical key to success.

The role
- Leading the day to day management of the Content Marketing team, including; 121’s, Performance Reviews, individual and team coaching and development
- Working with the client facing teams to ensure the client’s goals are being met as well as trouble shooting any potential blockers.
- Working with the Head of Earned & Owned Media, to ensure the team’s objectives and direction are closely aligned to both strategic and tactical goals
- Putting together briefing and content best practice documents in line with the strategic vision of the team set by the Head of Earned & Owned Media.
- The production, editing and outreaching of content when required.
- Training and empowering clients and internal teams on content best practice via Search Academy hosting
- Working on new business pitches and the delivery of bespoke content presentations
- Organising the monthly work bank for the team, in relation to the monthly client plans

Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous management experience, and have an inspiring, empathetic and nurturing management style to engage & develop a team of Content Managers
- Experience planning large-scale projects and be skilled at producing reports to measure content success
- Be organised with strong relationship building skills, able to produce high quality work within guidelines to deadlines.
- Have outstanding initiative, bringing a creative flair that will please customers through your passion for content and marketing.
- Confidence in presenting to clients and prospective clients
