Due to their continuous expansion, they are currently looking for a buyer to join their competitive team.

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- To improve company profitability by reducing procurement costs.
- Working with existing and new Supply Partners, driving savings through negotiation while minimising supply-chain risk.
- Identifying opportunities to consolidate the number of supply chain partners while maintaining product quality and service.

The position objectives are:
- Working to reduce supply chain costs to continuously improve profitability
- Build and maintain good relationships with supply chain partners
- Understand Supply chain risks; including contractual risk, reputational risk, regulatory and ethical risk, able to minimise these to ensure continuity of supply
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, including advanced use of Excel
- Able to quickly analyse data to identify issues and opportunities and see these through to completion
- A team player, highly motivated, able to work autonomously and has a 'can do' attitude
- Manages own time effectively and keeps to schedules.
- Focuses on customer needs and satisfaction.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills

Skills required:
- Working both as an individual and part of a team
- Track record of cost savings and the ability to deliver effectively to deadlines
- Proven background in Procurement with strong commercial awareness
- Able to develop and execute Procurement strategy
- Negotiation and networking skills
- Self-motivated with good organisational skills and the ability to work under own initiative
- Proven track record of working with Compliance, Procurement and Legal processes
