Package: £35,000 basic salary + commision
Expected OTE £50,000

Due to major growth within the business, an exciting opportunity has become available to join their successful Business Development team and become a part of their story.

About the Role

As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role contributing to the ongoing rapid growth their organisation is experiencing. This role has the enviable position of being provided with warm leads by their internal prospecting team on prospective key accounts for you to manage and win. No cold calling required!

Responsibilities include:

- Convert an existing pipeline of opportunities into new First Mile customers.
- Manage and own a sales pipeline, setting key forecast dates and estimated value.
- Negotiating by phone, email, and in person to close the deal
- Form and build relationships with potential clients.
- Manage the pipeline of opportunities through Salesforce CRM.
- Work with the Senior Manager, to ensure sales targets for the team are met.
- Contribute to the continuing development of business development tools that support First Mile growth.

About you

- Proven track record in B2B sales with relevant experience.
- Proven experience writing tenders.
- Evidence of hitting individual sales targets.
- Personable with a good sense of humour.
- Proven ability to act quickly and ensure effective, high-quality responses to existing leads.
- Strong interpersonal skills including confidence, positivity, diplomacy and the ability to gain credibility quickly.
- Strong IT skills with experience of CRM systems, Outlook, - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities within tight timescales.
- Good investigative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Remuneration

Your OTE will be circa £50,000. There will be 33 days holiday and pension contributions. Plus lots of parties, team lunches and other staff benefits!
