This company is expanding and looking for talented event technicians at all levels to join their team. They deliver a wide range of services including large scale event production, webcasts, interactive meetings, and video shoots. Responsibilities range from:
- Technical operation
- Technical specifications
- Assisting the project management team to create technical specifications for events
- Producing technical & creative documents & diagrams
- Health & safety, to include production of risk assessments and method statements
- Leading on-site teams
On site:
- Set-up and take down of equipment
Operation knowledge of the following:
- Graphics – Switchers, Computers, Large projection screen, Projection
- Audio – PA systems, Microphone use and types, Room/Audio design set up
- Lighting – Safe rigging, types for different use
- Power – Load balancing, and using up to 125a 3phase distro
- Rigging – Understanding of safety and the correct use of rigging equipment
- Liaise with client on-site where necessary
- Work within health and safety generated risk assessment and method statements.
- Understand and implement on-site changes
Warehouse:
- Technical specification of equipment lists and creation of Hiretrack documents
- Booking equipment out on tracking software (Hiretrack)
- Completion and organisation of paper work relating to event processes
- Equipment checks - going out and coming in
- Maintaining up to date equipment lists in conjunction with project manager
- Maintaining up to date equipment database
- Up to date knowledge of various equipment manufactures
- Driving vans – delivery and collection, safe loading and good handling
- Return equipment to relevant departments/sub-contractors
- Assist with workshop maintenance
