A leading software company that develops business management cloud solutions for the trade services industry is looking for an enthusiastic experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join their motivated and driven Accounts Team. Their products are designed to optimise business workflow to refine processes, improve productivity and increase profitability. They have operations in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia and New Zealand,
This is a full-time position based in their head office in St Ives, Cambridgeshire – where you will be joining a great team and fantastic culture.
The role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end performance of the accounts and book-keeping function of the UK office. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Raising Sales Invoice
- Customer Build Requests
- Direct Debit Management and Debt Collection
- Customer Receipting
- Bank Reconciliation
- End of month balance sheet reconciliations
- End of month procedures & reporting
- Cashflow monitoring and reporting
- Ad hoc duties
About you
You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment alongside a supportive, cohesive team. You will have the drive and enthusiasm to meet deadlines and complete your tasks to the highest standard. Ideally your experience and skills include:
- AAT Qualified or similar
- Experience in using accounts packages
- Intermediate level of Excel
- Ability to learn new systems
- Strong ability to prioritise workload
- Great communicator
- Effective team player
