Based in, Solihull, West Midlands, This company is an ambitious and growing Accountancy Firm. They specialise in the Small and Medium sized businesses.

Responsibilities and Duties

Your responsibilities are varied and will include the following:
- Preparation and submission of Limited Company Accounts
- Preparation of tax returns including company, personal, partnerships and be able to demonstrate the knowledge of various reliefs available.
- Monthly management accounts
- Preparing forecasts
- Analysing trends in business
- P&L - to monitor & manage allocated sections from P&L, staff costs, establishment, office costs, personal costs, commercial costs, IT costs, finance/legal costs, MPLB. Including journals, variance analysis, accruals & forecasting.
- Preparation and submission VAT returns
- Monitor, reconcile & manage allocated balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure the fixed asset register is routinely maintained and depreciation is posted.
- Monitoring bank reconciliations and ensuring postings are timely and correct.
- IRIS Proficient
- Ability to manage junior accountants

Qualifications and Skills

They are looking for a dynamic individual with strong communications skills. The ideal candidate will be ACCA qualified and should have post qualification experience working in a practice and be highly IT literate with excellent command of Excel and Microsoft office. Knowledge of Sage, IRIS and Xero is necessary

Benefits

A starting salary of £35,000 per annum is offered to the successful applicant dependant on the experience.
