Due to exceptional business growth these scientific equipment specialists wish to recruit an In-House Technical & Applications Support Specialist. This position represents an exciting opportunity for someone who is a passionate and self-driven team player, offering strong communication skills, to join a developing applications department as part of a successful and growing business with a great reputation in the scientific community.
This is an office-based position reporting to the Applications and Business Development Manager and working with 2 other field-based application scientists. The role is central to their Applications & Service team as you will be the first point of contact for all customers and colleagues seeking technical support on instrument assays, software and hardware.
You should be able to prioritise and be reactive to your client’s needs. Full of variety, this role would suit someone who has excellent verbal and written communication plus highly developed inter-personal and organisational skills.
The ideal candidate must have:
- A life sciences degree
- Hands on laboratory experience
- Customer service experience
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent Verbal and written communication
