This Academy has an exciting opportunity to appoint a School Business Manager. The position is permanent and hours are 35 per week.

The school is totally committed to ongoing school improvement to ensure that its learners have access to the high quality education they deserve. They are seeking an excellent School Business Management professional to join their supportive, dedicated and dynamic team.

The School Business Manager leads a range of support services including:
- Finance – ensuring effective financial management; budget planning, budget monitoring and reporting; ensuring economy, efficiency and effectiveness; income generation.
- Human Resources – Managing, supporting and developing staff; ensuring legal compliance; workforce planning; recruitment and selection; safeguarding.
- Procurement – procuring goods and services ensuring value for money; benchmarking; contract and supplier management.
- Infrastructure – ensuring fundamental facilities and services are maintained (asset management planning, project management, facilities management, Health & Safety and risk management, ICT).
- Marketing – promote, market and manage public relations; ensuring stakeholder engagement through a range of marketing and communication methods.

- Have a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience
- Can take the strategic lead in the development and co-ordination of all support services
- Have an outstanding track record in financial management coupled with business and administrative leadership
- Have experience of providing leadership and management of staff
- Have the ability to perform efficiently under pressure
- Have a strong work ethic and a willingness to strive for the best in achieving an outstanding setting
- Have a positive attitude and can actively contribute to the development of a dedicated and professional staff team
- Share the schools aims and Christian values
- Have a caring and positive attitude

Salary: (£24,174 to £26,821 FTE), Actual salary £19,555 to £21,696
Hours per week: 35 (term time only plus five training days)
Starting date: 02/01/2018
