This company established in 1961, suppliers of woodworking machines, saw doctoring services & tooling supplies to the wood & metal cutting industry in the local region. Based just outside Tewkesbury on the Newtown Industrial Estate
Duties:
To repair and sharpen saw blades received into their care so they can be returned to the customer in the best possible condition ready to be used again. This will mean learning how to load & run CNC machines, to replace & repaired damaged teeth to record actions taken and pass written details to the office staff for them to action & return the blades to the customers.
The ability to work as a team member is important but also to be able to run one’s own section on one’s own is required.
Full training on identifying the blades and what is required along with the controlling of the machines will be given.
Hours are 8am till 5pm Monday to Friday there will occasionally be the need to work overtime. Flexibility is required.
The candidate needs to be able to present themselves as friendly, professional and have a courteous manner to customers and work colleagues. Acting in a professional way at all times and be prepared to be flexible in the varied tasks required.
Salary package:
Dependent on qualifications and experience.
