Sales Support - Maternity Cover - Fixed Term - 12 Months

This is an exciting opportunity for a potential candidate to join the Automotive Industry where this organisation is continuously expanding across both the UK and Export market areas. The position of Sales Support will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Sales Support Manager on day to day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Creation of Customer Price files and cross references.
- Implementation of Customer prices onto their internal computer system.
- Analyse information taken from Phocas software and produce reports through Microsoft Excel for the Customer Service Office Manager, Product Development Department and Commercial Director.
- Check and analyse NLR log on a daily basis.
- Communicate with all departments; Directors, Product development, Customer service, Purchasing, Sales representatives, Export, Accounts and Warehouse as required.
- Communicate with Customers via email and over the phone.
- Work closely with the Board of Directors on a daily basis.
- General Office Duties (including faxing, filing, laminating, binding, scanning and copying).

Skills/Experience:

- Essential knowledge required for Microsoft Office Applications: Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport and communicate at all levels.
- Good Customer Service skills.
- Maintain a professional manner at all times including dealing confidential information within the working environment.
- Ability to communicate and liaise with employees, Managers/Supervisors and Directors on a daily basis.
- Good time management skills and the understanding of urgency to work towards set deadlines.
- Self-starter, adaptable and flexible.
- To possess the personality, empathy and the drive to succeed, with exceptional organisational skills and excellent attention to detail is crucial for this role.
- To be able to work on own initiative and ability to learn quickly.
- Full training will be given on the internal computer software.
