Alcester
Salary: £18,000 basic with OTE of £28,000.
Job Type: Permanent Full or Part-Time

This highly respected UK caravan and motorhome dealer with a pedigree of 45 years, who are currently recruiting for a Sales Person or Persons to join their busy, close-knit team at their Alcester site. This is a friendly, family-run business that is regarded as one the UK’s leading showrooms in its industry. They are committed to providing excellent customer service to their customers and as such are looking to recruit a Sales Person/s to meet with customer demands in the sale of touring caravans.

This position will require you to maximise every opportunity to sell new and used caravans to their customers. This role requires the successful candidate to have an understanding of an effective sales process, the ability to identify the needs of their customers and provide excellent customer care. You will need to be able to maintain an in-depth knowledge of the caravans they sell.

The successful candidate will have: excellent communication skills (written and verbal), commercial mind set, hunger to follow up leads, highly motivation to achieve targets, outstanding customer care, and excellent organisational ability.

Key Objectives:
- Achieve and strive to exceed all monthly and annual sales and cross-selling targets as set by the Directors
- Manage all suitable sales prospects
- Record each sales opportunity, contact and follow-up accurately
- Completion of all the necessary paperwork and input into the company computer system
- Assist the Directors in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of finance proposals and documentation
- Ensure extensive and up-to-date knowledge regarding pricing, options, warranties, colours, standard equipment and specifications etc.
- Participation in national and regional shows and exhibitions
- Conduct accurate vehicle appraisals where appropriate
- Performing any other ad hock tasks, as required

Person Specification
- Must be fluent in English and be able to write competently
- A good eye for figures, negotiation skills and fluent in general business acumen
- Excellent verbal communication skills - has the ability to convey information verbally to fellow team members and customers
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to work as part of a team
- Reliable and takes pride in the quality of their work

Hours of work are full time, varying between winter and summer. Flexibility will be required around busier times of the year and they also require you to have a full driving licence (no drink driving endorsements).
