Position Summary:

To strengthen our sales team we are looking for a Sales Operations Manager based at their Sheffield site, who will be responsible for supporting the sales team by tracking, investigating and reporting sales information, the preparation of quotes, handling of customer requests and general support of the sales team.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will become an important member of their team with responsibility for developing process and KPIs to effectively help co-ordinate sales activities, measurement and support. You will also liaise internally to ensure customer requirements are met at every stage, and ensure the accurate monitoring and reporting of sales KPIs.

You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of working in client management within customer focused sales teams, be pro-active, target driven and ambitious. You must have a pro-active approach to the role and actively seek to find ways to support the teams you will be working with. You will also have a good level of IT knowledge including CRM systems, and ideally have some experience in technical sales. You will be energetic and motivated and have strong organisational ability with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also be responsible for a small sales support team and would be expected to look at ways to drive a proactive customer focused mentality which will intern provide the sales team with additional support.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide sales management support to the Sales Director and wider leadership groups
- Sales process optimisation, Administration, Reporting and Support budgeting processes
- Support sales forecasting activities and planning
- Managing process consistency
- Proactively identifying opportunities for sales and sales support process improvement
- Recommend revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
- Manage and monitor the relevance of customer CRM/Remedy data
- Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key to optimise process improvement
- Manage the internal sales function
- Document management
- Manage the Legal documentation process
- Manages essential communications between the other departments in the business to ensure that the Sales teams are equipped with up to date delivery, billing and invoicing information
- Provide in office support to the sales team particularly when they are not in the office

​Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales support role/manipulating and or using databases to extract information
- IT literate, experience of CRM systems (desirable) MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Attention to detail with the ability to work in a pressurised environment
- Experience of problem solving or identifying solutions for client needs
- Excellent organisational skills
