The Mid-Market Sales Manager is a field-based sales role with primary responsibilities of direct and indirect sales and related activities for Enterprise PBX, contact centre, and unified communications solutions targeted to companies with specific application/business requirements (currently up to 150 contact centre seats).

Responsibilities:

With access to the full product line, the Mid-Market Sales Manager will target organisations with a focus to position CIC (Customer Interaction Center), CaaS or PureCloud.

The Mid-Marker Sales Manager will sell both directly and via channel partners as appropriate and must be familiar with supporting and leading channel partners in a “High-Touch” capacity.


- Meets sales goals using heavy prospecting
- Presents product information to customers and partners.
- Manages the sales cycle through contract signature and hand over to post sale teams

Qualifications/Skills Desired and Preferred:

- Bachelor’s degree
- Solid years of sales experience in the telecommunications industry (IP, PBX, CTI, etc.)
- Extensive prospecting experience
- Familiar with IP PBX and Contact Center vendors such as Cisco, Avaya, Shoretel, Five9, and InContact.
- Thorough knowledge and skill set of enterprise telephony systems and customer service applications both Premise and Cloud.
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer
- Excellent communication skills, demonstration skills and business aptitude
- Self-directed with a strong work ethic

Work Context

- Communicates with customers and prospects, discerns key issues and recommends solutions
- Travels to customer and business meeting sites
- Assembles and manages virtual teams
- Legally eligible to work in the country of employment
