An exciting opportunity has arisen within the finance department to join the team and play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of this football club. They are seeking an experienced sales ledger controller to take full ownership of their sales ledger, helping to embed a culture of continuous improvement within the department.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Creating and posting sales invoices
- Work closely with their commercial department to ensure all our clients are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner & relationships are maintained
- Control account reconciliations monthly
- Providing customers with remittances & statements each month
- Issue letters/initiate legal proceedings as and when required
- Contract management – maintaining a library of all current and archived contracts
- Responding to customer queries in a timely and professional manner
- Updating and maintain commission schedules
Person Specification:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Self-starter with extensive experience operating to a high level on the sales ledger
- Strong team player who is willing to get “stuck in” with the rest of the team
- A good awareness of deadlines with excellent organisational skills
- Service focused, keen to ensure both internal and external customers are delighted with the information that they are provided with
- Keen to work in a fast-paced environment
