This company is looking for a Sales Ledger Administrator to join their accounts team at their global headquarters in Burnley. They offer a competitive salary based on skills, experience and qualifications plus an annual profit related bonus. This is a full time role 09:00 - 17:00 Mon - Fri (with an early finish Friday initiative)

The role:
- Customer credit control within pre-determined credit values and period limits.
- Vetting and releasing sales orders.
- Vetting and opening customer accounts.
- Processing and reconciling customer payments.
- Daily banking and sales ledger posting, audit and aged debt reports.
- Liaising with customers and sales office staff to resolve queries and debts.
- Daily sales invoicing and credit notes.
- Monthly customer statements, monthly cash plan: debtor receipt forecasts.
- Debt insurance sales declarations, monthly overdue debt reporting, and unpaid debt repayment claims.
- Registration of insolvent customer debts.

Experience within a similar role is essential. The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate a thorough and accurate approach to their tasks, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness. The ability to organise and prioritise work effectively to meet KPI’s within an ever-changing environment is also essential. A positive customer service approach is important as well as a professional attitude and commitment towards continual improvement.
