Based: North Sheffield
This company is an independent steel stockholder based in North Sheffield. They operate across a range of markets, supplying specialist engineers as well as valve and fastener manufacturers with oil and gas, aerospace, powergen, marine and specialist stainless, nickel alloy and copper alloy bar products. Approximately 50% of turnover is exported.
They are now seeking an experienced Sales Executive with the potential to grow into a Sales Director role.
They are looking for candidates who have previous sales experience within the steel stock-holding industry, although not necessarily within their existing markets. They are always willing to consider new market / product opportunities and would welcome applications from candidates who believe they can take them in a different direction.
You will be responsible initially for the daily management of UK sales, identifying additional sales opportunities as well as managing and developing a portfolio of existing customers. They are looking for someone who can quickly show that they have the drive and determination to expand this role into a Sales Directorship.
You must have a high degree of personal organisation, excellent time management skills and outstanding relationship building skills to build on their customer focused ethos. As important is personality, motivation and an aspiration to drive the business forward as they build towards another phase of growth in the company’s history.
