This specialist Electronic Component Distributor with offices worldwide and a global customer base, is looking for a Sales Executive / Customer Service to work in their reseller team. The successful candidates will be working in a fast paced and vibrant sales enviroment within a stable and progressive company. In addition to the basic salary we offer an attractive bonus and comission schemes. Canditates must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and organised individual, who has a track record of making sales using the telephone.
Role
To assist in the distributor and resellers team.
Principle responsibilities
- Take customer telephone calls professionally
- Working on email enquires
- Liaising with our far east buying office
- Prepare and follow up quotations
- Placing orders and completing contract review
- Maximising margins and working to targets
- Ensuring deliveries are made on time
- Maintain and update online offerings to advertise our available stock
- Maintenance of email marketing database
- Profiling existing customers
- Monthly reporting
Competences and Skills
- Self-motivated, persistent, and extremely organised
- Able to work under pressure and on their own initiative
- Good communication skills
- Computer literate with good skills in excel, internet use and all round technical ability
- Good numeracy skills and an understanding of working with foreign currencies
- Able to make competent decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of KPI’s, margins and managing targets
