An experienced sales estimator is required to join their expanding, specialist company.

Reporting to a company Director and coordinating with the Office Manager this role would suit a person experienced with preparing quotes and B2B liaison. They require excellent organisational and interpersonal skills allied to a proven track record in successfully working in a busy and often reactive office environment.

Role and responsibilities:

Your duties will include the following:
- Management of assigned sales enquiries
- The collation of information from clients and their own experienced site engineers.
- Utilising their existing parts database to assemble quotes and estimates based on the information you have collated.
- Client liaison, preparation and issue of the quote.
- Tracking and closure of quotes.
- For successful project related estimates/quotes you will then manage the conversion to an electronic job and collate the ordering of parts to ensure the job is prepared correctly and as quoted.

You will co-ordinate with the office manager to ensure a smooth handover of the job for booking and issue to the installations team.

The role will require that clients are kept informed on the progress of their quotes as well as any relevant liaison during the job preparation phase.

Skills/experience required
To be considered for this role you will need to have proven experience of dealing with and managing quotes for external works ideally related to the security, architectural ironmongery, access control, doors or entry and exit related sectors. Good administrative, organisational and communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to enjoy a varied and dynamic role as part of an efficient, friendly and professional team.

You will need to be proficient with Microsoft Office software as well as a capability to learn new software (full training provided).

This role is a full-time role based out of their Head Office in Staplehurst with hours/days that could be flexible for the right candidate.

Hours: Full time position 8.00-17.00 Monday to Friday (Hours/days are negotiable)

Remuneration: Min £22k but open and flexible/negotiable dependent on your experience/skills.
