Serving the whole length of the country from their Manchester factory, this joinery firm manufactures joinery and laminate products for every type of client and facility. From standard washroom cubicles, to HTM healthcare furniture, and all the way through to bespoke feature joinery pieces; the same care and dedication is applied to every project to ensure everything leaving the factory deserves to carry the company name.

Their continued growth and development mean that they now require a Technical Estimator for their Group Joinery Division, based at their office in Walkden.

Job Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will be to provide a complete estimation service for joinery products, managing projects from receipt through to completion. You will interrogate Bills of Quantities, Schedules, Specifications and Architects drawing to establish all the appropriate requirements for each project. You will liaise with key stakeholders – The Design team, Production and the customer - to manage and progress each order / project, from start to finish.

Working within a small but busy team, one of their main focal points is the customer experience, its important their customers have a first-class experience from start to finish. The first customer touch point in invariably their sales team, this needs to have a warm, friendly and professional feel to set the tone for the rest of the journey with them.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills required:
- Previous experience in a similar position within a general joinery, door or ironmongery environment
- The ability to work accurately and methodically whilst meeting deadlines
- Manage and develop relationships with customers
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- An excellent eye for detail
- Be capable of recognising problems and developing solutions
- An ability to deal with people at all levels
- Require minimal supervision and be capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Great communication skills
- Good timekeeping and attendance record

Hours of Work:
38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
