Salary: £20k basic (OTE £35k in your first year)

They are looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team and share our passion and drive to make a huge difference in the Children Looked After (CLA) sector.

If you are driven, hardworking, and come with loads of energy and enthusiasm then look no further. They support children in the CLA sector by supplying local authorities, charities, and private care providers with online and face-to-face training.

They work with noted experts from within the CLA sector, and our one-stop service is unique in their industry.

Based in Manchester City Centre, they operate a network of 2000 trainers across the UK. They are a growing and dynamic business and will shortly be expanding their training services into other sectors of children’s services.

The Role
As one of their Sales Consultants you will be working on a 60/40 split of New Business and Accounts, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, owning the process throughout the whole customer journey, and maximising customer accounts.

Their aim is for every organisation in the CLA sector to select us for all of their training needs.

In order to be successful in this role you have to be confident on the phone, as a huge part of your daily responsibilities will be to make outbound calls to customers and prospects.

Each call is different, you could be talking to a Foster Agency, Children’s Home, or Care Agency, and will create your own base of accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain proactive and positive relationships with clients, managing portfolios effectively and efficiently, building client trust in our capability to deliver, and ensuring client retention
- Exceed daily call targets, training bookings and billings, and other performance metrics
- Ensure clients have a great experience from the first point of contact through to training delivery, follow-up, and beyond
- Research opportunities for new business and keep up-to-date on the activities of the competition. Make daily outbound canvassing calls
- Maintain client information as required for internal analysis and management
- You are the part of the front line team and are the face and voice of the company and must be an ambassador for their one-stop service for all of their clients training needs.

You will have:
- Previous experience in a client management role or similar
- Previous sales experience and consultative selling
- Experienced communicator both on the phone and in person
- Strong experience delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong problem-solving ability within the boundaries of authority
- Passionate about make a difference from behind the scenes.
