Permanent Role
Location: Chadderton, Oldham OL9
Proposed Start Date: July 2017
Salary: £16-20K (Plus up to 5% company bonus and up to 5% KPI bonus)

The Company:

This company is a multi-award winning 5th generation family business based in Chadderton near Oldham. They are a leading designer & importer of gift and housewares supplying the retail trade throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe on a wholesale basis. Their Business trades from Monday to Friday with occasional weekend trade show commitments.

The Applicant:

The successful applicant will be a self-starter and have the enthusiasm and vision to help grow their business and make a significant contribution to a busy team. You must be confident, positive, friendly and enjoy meeting people and developing relationships.

This position requires someone with a very keen eye for detail and will never put off a job that can be done today. Excellent organisation and time management skills are essential, and an ability to manage a very varied workload is essential. The Role:

You will be expected to meet and welcome and serve trade customers that visit the showroom.

You will be involved in the development of new promotions and initiatives to make the showroom more appealing and fresh, and in order to help do this, you will be expected to build a very good knowledge of their product ranges.

Working within the showroom environment – helping to create engaging brand displays with direction from the visual merchandiser.

You will be required to help with sample management to ensure pricing, discontinued lines and sale items are all up to date, whilst also supporting the photography department when required. This role will also involve manual handling of samples especially when building up and dismantling of trade shows.

Travel within the UK will be required occasionally with this role, including some overnight stays to support the trade shows as part of a larger sales team.
