Sales Assistant - Bridport
This company is one of the UK’s leading independent builders’ merchants and has been supplying materials to the trade for over 200 years. They have 39 branches throughout the South West, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire and a turnover in excess of £90m.
They have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join their team at the Bridport branch.
What will I be responsible for?
This is a varied role working on the trade counter, within their sales office and out in their yard serving customers promptly and in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
Who are they looking for?
If you have a background in customer service, a positive attitude and a desire to learn and develop within the builder’s merchant environment, this may be the job for you.
You will have the drive and enthusiasm to build sales and develop customer relationships, as well as providing excellent customer service at all times.
Knowledge of both timber and building materials and previous experience of working within a builders’ merchant environment is highly desirable, although this would be advantageous to your application, it is not essential. A forklift licence is also desirable.
