Sales & Marketing Manager, Croydon, Surrey
Salary £30,000 - £35,000 basic pro-rata plus bonus, 25 hours per week

This company provides bespoke HR outsourcing and consultancy services to SMEs within London and the South East. They are a small dynamic team, who work with the upmost integrity, professionalism and respect.

They are looking for a part-time sales and marketing manager to be part of their core team and take responsibility for growing their customer base.

They intend to increase turnover four-fold over the next three years and offer you a generous performance-related bonus for achieving company sales targets.

About the role

As their sales and marketing manager you will proactively lead all sales and marketing activity to develop new leads, enquiries and sales.

You will work closely with the MD and an external digital marketing consultant to devise ambitious, realistic and effective strategies, and take ownership of executing these within a defined budget.

This will begin as primarily an office-based role with a tight budget, and has scope to expand as the business grows.

The role is based in Croydon, with flexibility to work from home one day a week.

Responsibilities:
-Build and manage the outbound and inbound sales pipeline
- Proactively build customer base by undertaking sales and business development activities
- Build, update and maintain a database of contacts for future marketing activities
- Write regular thought-leadership content for the blog (informed by the consultants)
- Manage all email marketing
- Manage all social media (especially LinkedIn and Twitter)
- Any other tasks to increase the number of new business leads and sales

Essential requirements:

- Experience of building outbound sales pipeline
- Experience of inbound B2B marketing, social selling, and using LinkedIn for lead-generation
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Excellent communications skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly (via email, phone and in person)
- Sound experience of working in a small business context
- Digitally savvy, and proficient in the use of Microsoft office software
- Enthusiastic about working for and supporting the growth of a small dynamic company
