This company is one of the largest business transfer agents in the UK. Bringing over 40 businesses a week to market and negotiating and closing multiple sales per week, our client is seeking to grow much further and dominate the sector.

The business has undergone massive transformation from a small operation to a team of over 40 staff covering all aspects of sales, lead generation, digital marketing, sales negotiation, account management and finance and admin.
The company is ideally positioned to grow further and profitably by expanding on its strong brand, existing reach and established operations.

Context and Purpose of Role
With the growth opportunity in mind the Board are keen to secure a highly capable and driven Sales and Marketing Director to lead the sales and marketing functions and drive the performance of the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing commercially focused leader to join a fast-paced dynamic business and help lead its growth, with the view to building sales and marketing teams which deliver stability, accountability and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
As Sales and Marketing Director you will;
- Be a key leadership team member reporting to the MD, developing company strategy and delivering the business acquisition plan
- Have leadership responsibility for the company’s sales and marketing strategy, and control of all day-to-day activities pertaining to sales and marketing
- Provide accurate and relevant KPI information ensuring rigour at every stage in the sales process and work with the head of finance to ensure cash management is maximised

Key Skills and Experience
In terms of experience, you will be / have;
- An experienced, credible, experienced and high-performing executive with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, commercially driven company
- Familiar with working in an environment where managing growth is critical
- An acute understanding and appreciation of the dynamics involved in working in commercially-led sales and marketing driven business
- Have direct management experience of running sales and marketing teams, as well as recruiting talent to further develop teams and expertise
- Have experience of P&L leadership responsibility
