This growing, specialist management consultancy provides consultancy and technology solutions to organisations around key strategic HR pillars, including reward, gender pay, job structuring and benchmarking. They have just launched their sector-leading online solution which will bring an exciting new extension of services and provides a significant opportunity for growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to head up both functions, and join the Board with equity options. You need to have a demonstrable track record of selling consulting and software solutions, preferably into HR Directors of mid sized/FTSE 250 companies, together with understanding of associated marketing activities.

Jobholder will be responsible for creating and delivering a pipeline of new business opportunities. This will include strategic leadership and overseeing of all marketing activities, heading the company’s sales direction and process, and working closely with the Consultancy team to ensure all initiatives are coordinated.

Jobholder will contribute to the forward direction and performance of the company by serving as a Director and being a member of the Leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
- Production and ownership of the company’s integrated Sales & Marketing plan on an annual basis for Board approval, to include:
- Marketing - all aspects of the marketing mix in relation to both reward consultancy and online products. This will cover aspects such as brand identity and communications, digital strategy, balancing use of differing marketing channels, use of social media, use of partners, website design and content, PR, etc.
- Sales - all aspects of sales in relation to both reward consultancy and online products. This will cover aspects such as sales strategies for proposed target sectors, analysis of past performance to inform target setting at all stages of the pipeline, implementation of an effective sales process, utilisation of sales tools and constant review of performance against pipeline targets
- Leading the delivery and measurement of Marketing activities in line with this plan. This includes events, PR, Google Adwords, increasing engagement, use of external suppliers and contractors where required
- Lead company sales delivery through triage and allocation of incoming leads, creating a standard set of proposals, managing preparation of major bids and tenders, personally leading major bids alongside Client Directors

Essential experience
- Track record in managing sales and marketing (strategy through delivery) within a B2B environment across multi-channels within a similar sector
- Successful track record of selling consulting services to end user B2B clients
- Track record in the sale of technology solutions to end user B2B clients

Desirable experience
- Experience in an HR consulting and/or HR technology businesses
- Experience of appointment as a statutory Director of a trading business
