They are recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to take responsibility for identifying, developing and closing B2B prospects, primarily in the UK and France, for carbon management and reporting services, sustainability reporting and strategic support.

The company is an established business consultancy, specialising in providing expert sustainability services to large corporates throughout Europe.

You will have at least one degree in a relevant sustainability or related subject and be completely fluent in French and English.

The position provides an interesting and unusual opportunity because it is not office-based, although you will need to be able to attend team meetings in Bristol on a weekly basis.

They are a small team of dedicated professionals, working in an imaginative, decentralised and slightly unconventional way. You will need to be used to working in a small business, able to develop opportunities working on your own initiative and be able to build compelling and interesting business proposals to help them develop their prospects.

Role and responsibilities. Marketing:- developing and delivering the consultancy’s marketing strategy, including managing the production of sales support materials, writing and co-ordinating the production of a regular newsletter focused on sustainability reporting. Sales:- developing and following up business opportunities, managing a prospecting database of a small, targeted number of company contacts in the UK and France.

The role will involve direct contact with senior decision-makers, primarily by phone, conducted in English and French.

An attractive salary and flexible working hours make the position particularly attractive for someone who wants to work remotely and may wish to balance their career with family, or other, commitments. However, they will measure success directly on sales figures and challenging (but realistic) targets will form the basis of an additional, performance-based, bonus.
