This company is a global provider of community based networks and processing solutions to the Payments Industry. The network is a unique, highly resilient PCI certified network designed to securely and quickly deliver critical payment transaction information to banks, merchants, processors and other payment institutions. This network, which reliably delivers billions of transactions each year, is also used by the company to deliver a host of innovative value added solutions to their customers.

​They are currently seeking an experienced Sales and Account Manager who will be responsible for a number of major accounts for the UK and Ireland business as well as introducing new business from both existing customers and new. You will responsible for growing the annual revenue in line with the company goals and aggressive targets.

The successful applicant must demonstrate a desire for personal success and drive to help the company meet its global goals and targets. The ability to work as a team member is vital. They are looking for candidates who can communicate at all levels and possess experience in consultative sales to large businesses.

The successful candidate must also be able to travel.​

Key Responsibilities:
- Retain Business
- Ensure that the company is delivering and exceeding where possible its contractual obligations.
- Should there be service related issues; the Sales and Account Manager should be responsible for escalating this to the relevant personnel within the organisation (where applicable).
- Be the primary point of contact for the customer for any commercial matters arising within the account or operational escalations.
- Maintain overall customer satisfaction to ensure they add value to all customer iterations and activities, supporting the Service Management as and when required.
- Ensure that there are appropriate contacts within the accounts both commercially and operationally.
- Responsible for cultivating these relationships for opportunities and account growth.
- Identify new revenue opportunities to increase the account's overall revenue contribution.
- Liaise with internal departments as and when required to ensure that the company can support any new business opportunities and complete internal processes relevant for each opportunity.
- Actively seek new business outside of the existing account allocation, targeting new logos and new verticals.
- Attend industry events where required to maximise opportunities and relationships
- Achieve annual target levels.
- Develop a matrix of operational and senior level business and technical relationships within the customer’s organisation. The Account Director will actively involve senior personnel within the company as and when appropriate to support the key business objectives.
- Assessing any potential risks and providing accurate forecasts to the Sales Director as required.
