They have a vacancy for a temporary Part time Administrator, working 20 hours a week on a 3 month fixed term contract to offer holiday cover supporting the existing team, whilst maintaining customer support on a day-to-day basis.
Key responsibilities will be to:
- Receive and respond to customer queries and enquiries via telephone, fax and email, producing quotations aligned to company guidelines, ensuring conformance to customer requirements and generating works orders
- Processing and tracking customer orders ensuring timely payment
- Liaising with Production, Purchasing and Warehouse departments to ensure schedules are met, communicating any potential delays to clients
- Arranging and scheduling most appropriate method of shipment, creating and collating all relevant documentation
- Coordinating returns on quality issues and issue of credit notes where appropriate
- Ensure no goods are dispatched without prior payment
- To undertake any other duties reasonably requested by the company (e.g. filing, packing)
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate competent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Ideally from a sales office or purchasing background we are seeking someone with sound customer facing skills and experience, who can also demonstrate fast and accurate data processing and database inputting skills. Preference would be given to a team-player, who is proactive and self-motivated. Experience of goods-in or goods-dispatch would also be desirable but not essential.
The salary advertised is the full time equivalent and will be pro-rata'd
