This leading Fire Protection company has a fantastic opportunity to join as a Sales Development Executive. This is a dual role responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new leads within the lead development process as well as Sales and Operational data management.

Relationships and Roles;

Working closely with our Estimating and Contracts team, the Sales Development Executive ensures sales opportunities are actively managed and operational process are supported. The SDE also acts as a bridge between the Client and Contracts Mangers.

Key responsibilities;

Telemarketing
- Lead generation: identify leads through inbound calls, outbound calls, online research and networking events the business conducts
- Contact existing customers to offer new solutions
- Identify key influencers within external businesses
- Build and cultivate relationships with new and existing follow-up communications through the lead process
- Maintain high volume of phone calls
- Support the Group Marketing Manager with details for marketing activities

Data management
- Manage the CRM database ensuring all data is updated and accurate

Customer service
- Manage client’s enquiries and follow up on quotations through to completion

Administration
- Update ‘opportunities’ on CRM where required
- Procurement of materials and equipment with company supply chain
- As part of their role, the SDE also manages the throughput of incoming orders, liaising with the Estimating team and Contracts Managers to ensure the order details are accurate before work commences.

Aptitudes;

- Two years or above experience of working in a B2B sales/lead generation setting updating CRM
- Ability to work cross functionally with marketing and sales groups and driven towards supporting the Sales and Marketing process
- Solid experience of working with various Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to process and update information accurately and with a very keen eye for detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced customer-service environment juggling multiple projects and enquiries
- Ability to learn and promote a variety of service offerings
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Personable and professional attitude at all times with courteous telephone manner
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills
- Goal orientated with a can do attitude
