Based: Hungerford, RG17
Employment Type: Full time 35 hours per week

A fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to join this business based in Hungerford. This is a highly successful technology business, publishing industry leading websites. Combined these sites achieve over 20 million visitors a year. Having achieved fantastic growth for several years they have exciting plans to grow substantially in the coming years by connecting care seekers to care providers.

About this role:
The Account Manager will play a key role in increasing revenue by account managing and upselling to existing and potential clients; generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of services across their websites. They are the first point of contact for their clients and expected to provide first-class levels of customer service, whilst increasing client spend.

The day-to-day duties of the Account Manager are to help clients to utilise their services in an effective manner, effectively manage their sales funnel and provide new customers with a first-class onboarding experience.

Key responsibilities:

- Build strong relationships with customers through impeccable levels of account management
- Engage and interact with decision-makers at all levels to identify new and emerging business opportunities
- Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
- Provide statistical feedback on success of client advertising to maintain/develop high renewal rates
- Represent company at industry events to develop new business
- Liaise with Accounts to help resolve any queries raised by the customer in relation to invoices
- Maintain records of all sales leads and client accounts on CRM

The ideal candidate:

- Adept at telephone negotiation and a first-class telephone manner
- Experience in the account management and selling of software / digital advertising
- Possess exceptional customer relationship skills with individuals at all levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident, resilient and persistent
- A hunger for product and commercial knowledge
- The drive and tenacity to succeed and be motived and determined to deliver
- Confidence and professionalism in being able to convey and discuss our offering
- Possesses a desire to improve processes and be part of a successful sales team

Salary and Benefits:

- Salary in the region of £20,000 - £22,000 depending on experience
- Commission dependent on performance in the region of £12,000
- £4,000 per annum discretionary company bonus scheme
- 25 days holiday
- 6% employer pension contribution
