This role is crucial to their success, as Roofing Estimator you will be responsible for creating estimates, submission of tenders and generating new business. Excellent communication between the client, the team and the managing director is key.
As an experienced Estimator, you will have good experience with a roofing and cladding background as well as a goods knowledge of roofing systems such as Felt, Single Ply and Liquid. Your ability to deliver both cost-saving solutions, and concise reports to the MD will be essential.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of two years estimating experience
- Good numerical and mathematical skills
- Producing and Submitting of tenders
- Securing new business/projects
- Liaising with suppliers for materials/plant
- Producing applications for valuations
- Project performance
- Working with Excel
- Populating Bills of Quantities/Producing Take Offs

Salary & Benefits:
- Basic salary will range from £30,000 < £60,000 dependant on experience
- 28 days annual leave per annum (including bank holidays)

The role involves working in an office environment with site visits to survey commercial projects.
Their office is easily accessible from the A30 in Cornwall, and close to the nearby towns of St. Columb Major, Newquay, Wadebridge, Padstow, Truro and St. Austell.
