This is a unique opportunity to join a prestigious architectural and structural engineering consultancy on a permanent basis, based in Gerrards Cross, Bucks. You will be a key player within a well-established team of industry experts.

This employer is currently recruiting for a talented individual to join their architectural & planning design team; this role is a RIBA qualified Project Architect on a permanent basis. They are a multi award-winning residential development company who also work on small-to-medium scale projects for private clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with the Managing Director and CEO and help support the more junior members of staff.

Their practice specialises within the Residential sector and predominantly develop high-end, luxury houses so it is desirable that the Architect has a background similar to this. Daily responsibilities will include working throughout all RIBA work stages, assisting with a variety of building regulations, tender and construction drawings, work and assist on multiple projects and working independently as well as in a team. This practice uses AutoCAD and Revit on a daily basis but training can be provided for Architects that have not used the software.

Main responsibilities
- You will ideally have solid UK based residential design experience having performed in a similar role previously
- Be able to work effectively with clients and stakeholders across all levels
- Running various residential projects across all RIBA Stages
- Assist with drafting building regulations, tender and construction drawings
- Work and assist on multiple projects at one time
- Help develop a growing architectural practice
- Must be full RIBA part 3 qualified with solid practical experience
- Excellent communication skills (fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential)
- Strong design skills, including detailing
- Understanding of the building regulations and UK planning system
- Ability to produce architectural detailing
- Creative problem solving and ability to present options

Skills needed:
- Experience using AutoCAD is essential
- Experience using REVIT is ideal but not required
- Excellent Written & Verbal communication skills
- A keen interested in residential and domestic buildings
- Work experience in similar role is highly advantageous but not required
