The role will primarily involve buying a range of goods from the general public in their store. They buy all sorts of items including mobile phones, games consoles, computers, musical instruments and jewellery. Knowledge of any of these would be an advantage, but they can train you to value all of them. Some of your training will be done in their nearby sister store.
You will also learn the cheque cashing business and help with stockroom and sales floor activities.
Candidates must be numerate and literate and possess good general IT skills. The role will involve high levels of attention to detail and the ability to follow systems and procedures to the letter. The role will involve Saturday working with Sundays off and a day off during the week.
