This company are manufacturers of beds and mattresses and are looking to recruit a full time retail assistant to work in their Peterlee shop. They have been trading for 14 years within the local area.
39 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm and Saturday 9am - 4.30pm with a mid-week day off.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and serving customers, providing product advice
- Stock control and management.
- Process cash, card, finance transactions and refunds.
- Processing online and telephone orders.
- Placing purchase orders with suppliers using Sage.
- Liaising with customers and the warehouse to organise deliveries of goods.
- Organising post for dispatch.
- Ensuring the showroom is presentable at all times.
- Increase sales via various platforms.
Previous retail/sales experience would be preferable, however full training will be provided.
£8.50 per hour
28 days holiday per annum
